Title:  CN 3089, EMDX 7218, et al.
Description:  A CN through freight passes the sad remnants of the former C&NW yard and approaches Pioneer Dr. as it heads northeast at Oshkosh, WI, on 12 Feb. '21. Train had four locomotives, CN 3089, EMDX 7218, GTW 4620, CN 5449. Most of the yard was torn up in Aug. '16; they did leave the passing siding and team track. This crew was gracious enough to stop in Neenah so that I (and several other train nuts) could capture better photographs of EMDX 7218.

Title:  CN 3089, EMDX 7218, GTW 4620, CN 5449
Description:  A CN through freight parallels Union St. and passes the former Sherry St. grade crossing as it backs into the north end of the former SOO yard at Neenah, WI, on 12 Feb. '21. The historic Neenah Cheese & Cold Storage Co. facility, 434 Sherry St., is partially visible beyond the train. It was built in 1902 after the original 1892 building was destroyed by fire and is currently used for storage. The historic Murer House, 432 Sherry St., is partially visible beyond that. It was built by Felix Murer in 1892 and is currently home to Sherry Town Station. The Main St. overpass is partially visible in the background to the left. The area between the tracks and Union St., from Main St. to Monroe St., used to be the yard. I don't know when the current, significantly larger yard (extending southwestward from Winneconne Ave.) was built, but a map from 1909 shows the yard still here.
