CN container train parallels Harrison St. and approaches the W. Cecil St. overpass (Timothy Hamblin Bridge) as it heads northeast via former SOO rails at Neenah, WI on 3 Sep. '17. The covered hoppers spotted by the silos in the background are part of the Bemis facility on Marathon Ave., a rail customer on a remnant of the former C&NW main line (the rails at far left). Train had two locomotives, CN 2570 and CN 5728. I was walking westward along the overpass, hoping to make it far enough to shoot around the telephone pole, but didn't quite make it. |
