CN 2999 and CN 5627 |
Description: |
A CN through freight approaches Harrison St. as it heads south via former SOO rails at Town of Oshkosh, Winnebago Co., WI, on 1 Dec. '20. Train had four locomotives, CN 2999 and CN 5627 pulling as well as CN 2984 and CN 2308 or 2808 mid-train. The former C&NW right-of-way runs parallel to these tracks just out-of-frame to the right. The CN main line transitions from the former SOO to the former C&NW right-of-way at Harrison St. I was standing on Harrison St., in the City of Oshkosh, but the train is traversing an isolated, pitiful scrap of the Town of Oshkosh. |
