A CN through freight parallels Harrison St. as it heads northeast past the former SOO yard at Neenah, WI on 12 Dec. '19. Train had two locomotives, CN 5627 and CN 5755. A remnant of the former C&NW main line runs parallel to the left. Neenah Foundry Plant 2 & Plant 3 are partially visible in the background at left. Plant 2 opened in 1960 and Plant 3 was built in 1967. Plant 1 opened in 1918 and stood about a mile to the north, until it was closed in 1994 and eventually demolished. The W. Bell St. overpass is partially visible in the background to the right.

CN 2999 and CN 5627
Description:
A CN through freight approaches Harrison St. as it heads south via former SOO rails at Town of Oshkosh, Winnebago Co., WI, on 1 Dec. '20. Train had four locomotives, CN 2999 and CN 5627 pulling as well as CN 2984 and CN 2308 or 2808 mid-train. The former C&NW right-of-way runs parallel to these tracks just out-of-frame to the right. The CN main line transitions from the former SOO to the former C&NW right-of-way at Harrison St. I was standing on Harrison St., in the City of Oshkosh, but the train is traversing an isolated, pitiful scrap of the Town of Oshkosh.
