Description:
CN local overtakes a CN through freight as it heads northeast via former C&NW rails at Stroebe, WI on 28 Feb. '14. Local was headed for Appleton, Little Chute and Kaukauna and had two locomotives, CN 4715 and IC 3138. Through freight had two locomotives, CN 2827 and CN 2854 (hidden), not sure where it was headed but it sat there idling for several days.

CN 2827, CN 2807, et al.
Description:
CN through freight bisects the CHS Larsen Cooperative - Readfield grain terminal and fertilizer facility as it heads east via former SOO rails at North Readfield, WI on 28 Oct. '17. Larsen Cooperative merged with CHS, Inc. on 1 Sep. '12. At right, a railcar mover positions covered hoppers for loading. The idle Proppant Specialists, LLC, facility is partially visible at left. Train had three locomotives, CN 2827 and CN 2807 up front and CN 2909 mid-train. Some confuse North Readfield with slightly larger Readfield, 1 mile to the south. This is likely due, in part, because everything in the former has a mailing address of the latter. The pair of unincorporated communities are distinct, and the latter has no railroad tracks.

Title:
CN 2980 and CN 2827
Description:
A CN container train parallels Harrison St. and passes Neenah Foundry Plant 2 & Plant 3 as it heads northeast via former SOO rails at Neenah, WI on 30 Nov. '18. Plant 2 opened in 1960 and Plant 3 was built in 1967. Plant 1 opened in 1918 and stood about a mile to the north, until it was closed in 1994 and eventually demolished. A remnant of the former C&NW main line runs parallel on the other side of the train.
