Cecil St. overpass (Timothy Hamblin Bridge) as it extracted a string of cars from the former SOO, now CN, yard along Harrison St. at Neenah, WI on 20 Nov. '18. The hardworking volunteers operating the Boys' & Girls' Brigade’s annual wreath sale weren’t sure what to think about the foamers trying to shoot this interesting locomotive. |

A through freight with a large, interesting selection of motive power rests on CN, former C&NW, rails at W. Bell St. at Neenah, WI on 24 Nov. '18. Train had five locomotives, UP 4596, UP 8501, UP 4693, CEFX 6007 (former SOO 6007), GECX 2036. I don’t encounter former SOO equipment this close to former SOO rails often enough. Neenah's Southpark Industrial Center (industrial park is too plebeian for oft ostentatious Neenah) is visible in the background, including Faith Technologies, Inc., 585 Enterprise Dr., (a former Plexus Corp. facility). |
