A CN train crosses Clayton Ave. (and crosses the border from Fox Crossing, Winnebago Co., WI, to the Town of Clayton, Winnebago Co., WI) as it heads west along former SOO rails at Town of Clayton, Winnebago Co., WI, on 26 Feb. '23. Fox Crossing, WI, was formerly Town of Menasha, Winnebago Co., WI, from 1855 until 14 Apr. 2016. I was thrilled to see a caboose in the consist. Sorry, but I will not willingly utter the phrase "shoving platform" to describe a piece of rolling stock which is obviously a caboose. WC 15 is the former AC 9602, although one reference claims it was AC 9606. |
