CN 2248 and CN 2561
Title:  CN 2248 and CN 2561
Description:  CN through freight passes the Main St. over pass as it traverses the west leg of the wye at the north end of the former SOO yard at Neenah, WI on 15 Oct. '16. The train is also passing the remnants of the platform and foundation of the ca. 1955 masonry SOO depot (the rail sections supported by concrete blocks and railroad ties rest atop the foundation). It was built to replace the wooden depot built in 1891 on Sherry St., about 850 ft. to the southeast, which was torn down soon after the new one opened.

CN 2639, CN 2248, GECX 9124
Title:  CN 2639, CN 2248, GECX 9124
Description:  A CN through freight approaches the Hwy. G overpass and parallels Hwy. 41 as it heads northeast via former SOO rails at Snells, WI on 27 Apr. '18. Snells, formerly known as Snell’s Station or Snell’s Crossing, is now little more than a map dot in the Town of Neenah, Winnebago Co. This small, rural community once included a post office, depot, cheese factory, sawmill, school, and stockyard. It does not look like any real remnants of the original community remain. Even the station sign, erected after the depot was removed, is gone. The former C&NW rails run parallel on the other side of the train.
