BCOL 4624, et al.
Title:  BCOL 4624, et al.
Description:  A CN through freight approaches Harrison St. as it heads south via former SOO rails at Town of Oshkosh, Winnebago Co., WI on 30 Apr. '18. Train had three locomotives, BCOL 4624, GECX 9129, CN 5774. The former C&NW right-of-way runs parallel to these tracks just out-of-frame to the right. The CN main line transitions from the former SOO to the former C&NW right-of-way at Harrison St. I was standing on Harrison St., in the City of Oshkosh, but the train is traversing an isolated, pitiful scrap of the Town of Oshkosh. Bemis Oshkosh North, in the City of Oshkosh, is partially visible in the background.

BCOL 4634, et al.

Description:  A CN through freight approaches Harrison St. as it heads south via former SOO rails at Town of Oshkosh, Winnebago Co., WI on 30 Apr. '18. Train had three locomotives, BCOL 4624, GECX 9129- CN 5774. The former C&NW right-of-way runs parallel on this side of the tree line at right. The CN main line transitions from the former SOO to the former C&NW right-of-way at Harrison St. I was standing on Harrison St., in the City of Oshkosh, but the train is traversing an isolated, pitiful scrap of the Town of Oshkosh. The locomotives are passing a turnout for what is now just a spur for a solitary active rail customer. Not too long ago there were numerous rail customers along that stretch of rail. That track once formed the northern leg of a gigantic loop around the northern half of Oshkosh. I intended to capture a better view of the turnout and spur, but my timing was a little off, obviously.
