A CN local heads northwest as it traverses the forlorn remnants of the former GB&W Norwood Yard at Green Bay, WI, on 30 Dec. '23. The Fox River Elevator dominates the scene. The elevator was built by GB&W around the turn of the 20th Century, the railroad sold it in 1971. It was adorned with a pair of large GB&W logos from about the ‘60s into the ‘80s. |
