CN 3263
Title:  CN 3263
Description:  A CN container train parallels Harrison St. (out-of-frame to the left) and approaches Kampo Rd. as it heads southwest via former SOO rails at Neenah, WI, on 18 Jun. '20. Train had two locomotives, CN 3263 pulling and CN 8913 pushing. A remnant of the former C&NW main line, now relegated to a passing siding, runs parallel to the right. The smoke stacks of Neenah Foundry Plant 2 & Plant 3 are visible above the train to the left. Plant 2 opened in 1960 and Plant 3 was built in 1967. Plant 1 opened in 1918 and stood about a mile to the north, until it was closed in 1994 and eventually demolished.

CN 3263
Title:  CN 3263
Description:  A CN through freight parallels Union St. as it heads north past the former SOO yard at Neenah, WI, on 13 Feb. '21. Train had two locomotives, CN 3263 pulling and CN 2660 mid-train. The area between the tracks and Union St., from Main St. to Monroe St., used to be the yard. I don't know when the current, significantly larger yard (extending southwestward from Winneconne Ave.) was built, but a map from 1909 shows the yard still here.
