CN 3160, et al.
Title:  CN 3160, et al.
Description:  A brand-spankin'-new CN 3160 was part of the consist of a CN through freight halted on former SOO rails at N. Lake St. at Neenah, WI on 20 Dec. '18. The train had seven locomotives, four or five of them were brand new, including CN 3162 and CN 3160. Unfortunately, I was only able to shoot two of the locomotives before the train departed.

CN 3160 and CN 2914
Title:  CN 3160 and CN 2914
Description:  A CN through freight parallels Union St., passes the former Adams St. grade crossing, and approaches the former Monroe St. grade crossing as it heads south at the former SOO yard at Neenah, WI on 21 Mar. '19. It looks like they are preparing to replace one of the crossovers in the near future. The area between the tracks and Union St., from Main St. to Monroe St. used to be the yard. I don't know when the current yard was built, but a map from 1909 shows the yard here. Adams St. was originally Washington St., until at least 1913.

CN 3244, CN 3160 and GTW 4619
Title:  CN 3244, CN 3160 and GTW 4619
Description:  A CN through freight parallels Union St. and passes the former Sherry St. grade crossing at the north end of the former SOO yard at Neenah, WI, on 8 Mar. '20. The historic Murer House, 432 Sherry St., is partially above the second locomotive. It was built by Felix Murer in 1892 and is currently home to Sherry Town Station. The WC (later SOO) depot stood on the opposite side of Sherry St. from that building; it was built on the north side of Sherry St. on the east side of the tracks in 1891. It replaced the ca. 1871 depot that stood at the west end of Wisconsin Ave. The Sherry St. depot was demolished ca. 1955 when a new depot was built between Main St. and N. Lake St. on the west leg of the wye, about 850 ft. to the northwest. The area between the tracks and Union St., from Main St. to Monroe St., used to be the yard. I don't know when the current, significantly larger yard (extending southwestward from Winneconne Ave.) was built, but a map from 1909 shows the yard still here.
