CN 2676 and CN 8008 |
Description: |
A CN unit train of autoracks approaches E. Snell Rd., and an awesome 117-year old culvert, as it heads southwest via former SOO rails at Oshkosh, WI, on 2 Aug. '20. The former C&NW right-of-way runs parallel to the right. The border between the City of Oshkosh and the Town of Oshkosh is ridiculously convoluted in this area. The land to the left of the active rails in front of me and the land on both sides of the active rails behind me is the Town of Oshkosh, but the land to the right of the active rails in front of me is the City of Oshkosh. Go about 400' behind me and the land on both sides of the active rails is the City of Oshkosh. |
