| Description: |
A CN unit train of tank cars approaches Fond du Lac Rd./Hwy. 45 while headed south via former C&NW rails at Oshkosh, WI on 30 Mar. '19. Train had three locomotives, CN 2927 and CN 2843 pulling and CN 3096 pushing. The second locomotive is crossing a neat, old bridge spanning an apparently unnamed creek which empties into Lake Winnebago (just out-of-frame to the right). Like many of the C&NW bridges in the area, the abutments were built wide enough to support two tracks. Some maintenance of the bridge is in progress. |
