A heavily powered CN through freight kicks up some of the freshly fallen snow and approaches Pioneer Rd. as it heads northwest via former SOO rails at Town of Clayton, Winnebago Co., WI on 13 Dec. '17. Train had five locomotives, CN 2891, CN (?), IC 1007, CN 8886, CN 8932. This scene looks odd without the interesting, old telephone poles that stood along the near side of the tracks for 146 years, until they were removed between 4 and 18 Sep. '17. |
