The pedestrian bridge over the slough at Herb and Dolly Smith Park is visible on the right, the fish were bitin’. The remnants of the foundation from the ca. 1955 masonry SOO depot are behind the locomotives. There are rail sections supported by concrete blocks and railroad ties stacked upon it. It was built to replace the wooden depot built in 1891 on Sherry St., about 850 ft. to the southeast, which was torn down soon after the new one opened.

Description:  A CN unit train of autoracks approaches Dixie Rd. as it heads northeast via former SOO rails at Town of Vinland, Winnebago Co., WI on 25 Apr. '18. Train had two locomotives, CN 2901 and CN 2829. The former C&NW right-of-way runs parallel on the other side of the trees and brush beyond the train. Part of the former C&NW main line forms a long passing siding, sometimes referred to as Dixie Siding, on the north side of Dixie Rd.

Description:  A CN through freight passes the Main St. overpass and traverses the west leg of the wye at the north end of the former SOO yard at Neenah, WI, on 24 Jun. '20. The remnants of the foundation from the ca. 1955 masonry SOO depot lie to the right of the lead locomotive. The rail sections supported by concrete blocks and railroad ties rest atop the remnants of the foundation. The historic Neenah Stove Works, currently occupied by Hafemeister Machine Corp., 635 Main St., and International Children's Fund, 619 Main St., can be seen in the background to the right. The oldest part of the facility dates to 1857, when the Moore & Wells foundry was established.

The pedestrian bridge to the right connects Arrowhead Park to Herb & Dolly Smith Park. The former Lieber Lumber facility is partially visible at right. Part of that facility is used as a warehouse by somebody, the office/retail building is currently home to the Valley Academy for the Arts, 139 N. Lake St., Neenah, WI. Eggers Div. of VT Industries, previously Eggers Industries, founded as Hardwood Products Co. in 1910, 164 N. Lake St., Neenah, WI, an active rail customer, is partially visible beyond that.
