A CN unit train of bi-level autoracks approaches the W. Bell St. overpass as it heads northeast via former SOO rails at Neenah, WI on 15 Dec. '18. MWCX 462747 (former CNW 753735, former ROCK 801224), was 1 of a string of cars spotted on a passing siding along the adjacent former C&NW main line. CNA 405589 was part of the consist of a CN through freight halted upon the former C&NW main line. Neenah's Southpark Industrial Center (industrial park is too plebeian for oft ostentatious Neenah) is visible in the background, including Innovative Machining, LLC, 550 Commerce Ct. |

After waiting for the CN through freight from the previous series of photographs to pass, a CN unit train of bi-level autoracks crosses N. Lake St. as it heads northwest via former SOO rails at Neenah, WI on 15 Dec. '18. At right, a very enthusiastic, young railfan (with his parent or guardian) records the train with his cellular telephone. The former Lieber Lumber facility is partially visible in the background. Part of that facility is used as a warehouse by somebody, the office/retail building is currently home to the Valley Academy for the Arts, 139 N. Lake St. Train had two locomotives, CN 2171 and CN 2203. |
