'18. Train had three locomotives, CSX 22, BNSF 8290, CN 5286. Neenah Foundry Plant 2 & Plant 3 can be seen at right. Plant 2 opened in 1960 and Plant 3 was built in 1967. Plant 1 opened in 1918 and stood about a mile to the north, until it was closed in 1994 and eventually demolished. |

Bell St. overpass as it heads southwest via a remnant of the former C&NW main line, now relegated to a passing siding, at Neenah, WI on 20 Jun. '18. Train had three locomotives, CSX 22, BNSF 8290, CN 5286. The former SOO main line is in the foreground. A new turnout rests between the two sets of tracks. It will soon replace an existing turnout which is used to service Neenah's Southpark Industrial Center from the former C&NW passing siding. |
