A CN through freight parallels Harrison St. and passes Neenah Foundry Plant 2 & Plant 3 as it heads southwest at the south end of the former SOO yard at Neenah, WI on 24 Aug. '17. Train had three locomotives, CN 3064 and CN 3045 up front and CN 3060 mid-train. Plant 2 opened in 1960 and Plant 3 was built in 1967. Plant 1 opened in 1918 and stood about a mile to the north, until it was closed in 1994 and eventually demolished.

Description:
A CN through freight approaches N. Lake St. as it heads northwest via former SOO rails at Neenah, WI on 17 Dec. '17. The former Lieber Lumber facility, 139 N Lake St, Neenah, WI, is partially visible at right. Part of the facility is used as a warehouse by somebody, the office/retail building is currently home to the Valley Academy for the Arts.
