| CN local crosses Olde Oneida St. (background left) and parallels W. Edison Ave., originally Mill St., as it pulls 10 cars westward through the Flats via former C&NW rails at Appleton, WI on 26 Mar. '15. Train was heading back to the yard at Appleton Junction after working Kimberly and Combined Locks. The train is passing the site where the C&NW depot stood, the grass strip to the right of the train, this side of Olde Oneida St. The MILW had a small yard and depot at the top of the photograph, off to the right of the C&NW rails. |
