It was passing a CN local that was waiting to head to Appleton and points beyond, but the photos of the meet didn't turn out well.

CN 2327 and CN 2727
Title:  CN 2327 and CN 2727
Description:  A CN through freight parallels Union St. and passes the former Caroline St. grade crossing as it shoves a string of cars into the north end of the former SOO yard at Neenah, WI on 30 Jun. '19. The Winneconne Ave. overpass can be seen in the background at right. The area between the tracks and Union St., from Main St. to Monroe St. used to be the yard. I don't know when the current yard was built, but a map from 1909 shows the yard here.
