CN 2581, IC 1039, CN 2637
Title:  CN 2581, IC 1039, CN 2637
Description:  A trio of CN locomotives rest on a remnant of the former GB&W main line at Amherst Junction, WI on 7 Mar. '15. The bridge crosses Hwy. KK, which used to be U.S. 10. I am curious to learn why that many axles were halted there, on a truncated remnant of a former main line. I doubt they would devote that much horsepower to service Frontier-Servco FS, out of frame to the left.

Description:  A trio of CN locomotives approach Lake Dr. as they head northwest toward Stevens Point via former SOO rails at Amherst Junction, WI on 7 Mar. '15. They had been parked on a remnant of the former GB&W main line at Amherst Junction for some odd reason. U.S. 10. is visible in the background.

CN 2581 and CN 2649
Title:  CN 2581 and CN 2649
Description:  A CN through freight approaches E. Snell Rd. as it heads north via former SOO rails at Oshkosh, WI on 28 Jan. '18. It is about to cross the ridiculously convoluted border from the City of Oshkosh to one of the remaining scraps of the Town of Oshkosh, WI. When it passes where I was standing, on Snell Rd., it will enter the City of Oshkosh once again. The turnout leads to a pair of rail customers, Bemis and Pacur.

Title:  CN 2581 and CN 2649
Description:  A CN through freight approaches E. Snell Rd. as it heads northeast via former SOO rails at Town of Oshkosh, Winnebago Co., WI on 28 Jan. '18. It has just crossed the ridiculously convoluted border from the City of Oshkosh to one of the remaining scraps of the Town of Oshkosh, WI. When it passes where I was standing, on Snell Rd., it will enter the City of Oshkosh once again. The turnout leads to a pair of rail customers, Bemis and Pacur. The former C&NW right-of-way runs parallel here and is partially visible at left.
