A trio of interesting and colorful foreigners lead a unit train of 2-bay covered hoppers along Hwy. 41 and approaching the Hwy. G overpass while headed northeast via CN, former SOO, rails at Snells, WI on 27 Apr. '18. Snells, formerly known as Snell’s Station or Snell’s Crossing, is now little more than a map dot in the Town of Neenah, Winnebago Co. This once small, rural community included a depot, cheese factory, sawmill, school, and stockyard. It does not look like any substantial remnants of the community remain, even the station sign, erected after the depot was removed, is gone. The former C&NW rails, also in use by CN, run parallel behind the brush to the left of the train. |

I believe it is owned by RGL Logistics, 1715/1725 Dixie Rd., Neenah, WI (physically located in Town of Neenah). Previous occupants of the facility include Checker Logistics and Warehouse Specialists, Inc. |
