A CN through freight approaches Hwy. M as it heads southeast via former SOO rails at Medina Station, Town of Dale, Outagamie Co., WI on 8 Oct. '18. Train had two locomotives, CN 2035 and GECX 7366. The WC built a depot here somewhere between 1871, when the line was laid, and 1889, when I recently found it depicted on a map. The site was labeled as Medina Station on maps until at least 1915. The depot stood approximately where the CN microwave tower now stands, just out-of-frame to the right. |
