C&NW Kaukauna, WI Depot
The north and west walls of the CN, former C&NW, depot at Kaukauna, WI on 9 Jun. '15. Designed in the Art Moderne style and built in 1947, it originally had a flat roof. The current gabled roof was added at some point after 1983. It became known as the north side depot after 1890, when the Milwaukee Lake Shore & Western, later C&NW, built their large, ornate depot south of the Fox River. That depot disappeared many years ago.
